Your email address is used to send sign-in links and maintain your account. Other readers do not see it. The name beside a post is a generated traveler label; Dana's posts are marked with her name.
Messages you post in the reader rooms can be read by other signed-in members. You can report a message to Dana, who can remove posts or temporarily restrict posting. Please do not put private information in a room message.
If you choose the free prequel, your email and that choice are added to Dana's dedicated prequel list in Sendy. The site also records whether the prequel has been sent, so the same address is not sent another copy. You can change your choice in the reader rooms or unsubscribe from an email. Joining the rooms alone does not add you to this list.
A secure session cookie keeps you signed in. The site stores accounts, messages, reports, and session records on the VPS used for this reader space. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes; sessions expire after 30 days or when you sign out.
For an account or message removal request, contact Dana through her author website.
